i mean its not like its a common occurrence or anything. there have been 20+ perfect games but people still think its historic when somebody throws one.

It would be historic because none of the other LA guys who broke 4:00 did it in Louisiana. Actually, I think sub-4:00 has only been accomplished once in LA.

The sub-4:00 equivalent at 1500m was completed multiple times at the 1992 Olympic Trials. Including 2x by Sulphur's Mike Morin. But for some reason people like the mile better.
