Lue is a LA Clippers assistant FWIW.

Looks like Phil just wants someone who will coach however Phil tells them to.

Fisher will be a good coach. Smart guy, good guy, players love him, knows the game as well as anyone, had top notch coaches his entire career to learn from, etc.
But come the frick on. Let these guys be assistants for at least a year or 2 so they can learn how coaching works behind the scenes. Players don't see everything the coaches do.

Lue has worked for Boston in player development and is in LA as an assistant FWIW.
And Luke Walton is the head coach of the Lakers D-league team.

Also, Kidd tanked early in the year with 23 million dollar Joe Johnson, Lopez, and 2 sure-fire Hall of Famers. He's lucky the players started to gel or he would've been fired mid-year.
He should be used as a business case against hiring players their first year out of the league.

I was obviously talking about Fisher.

I find it more odd they are going after Fisher while he is still in the league. At least let him retire first. He may still want to play next year.

Tyronn Lue?
Luke Walton is the one that surprised me...

Are people blind? My post is clearly about Fisher.
What am I missing here?

Guess this part confused me..

quote:Clearly you didn't keep up with them this year, or else you would know that they had a plethora of injuries earlier in the year, and Brook Lopez only played like 15 games this year.

I think that's where the confusion is, Caterpillar.
