Well...did they actually get the guy they were chasing to warrant running into these people's backyard? Did he get away? Was he never there and they thought they saw him and went into a backyard that had nothing to do with what they were doing and shot this dog?

This story was written to make the officers look bad. I wonder what the true story is here. Lots if important facts missing.
If the guy was charged with interfering it probably has more to do with the bad guy being in your home than the dog getting killed.
