As a part time guide who fishes 50-70 days a year I highly recommend Pflueger President for inshore and of course freshwater.I use the 6925 mostly,I went through tons of reels, some way more expensive before settling on these. Super low maintenance ,smooth drags and throw braid better than most and below your price range. Good Luck

I have to agree on that pflueger. I've had one since pre Katrina I've tried to kill and it just won't die. Also light and smooth. You can't beat it for the price. The rest of my reels are shimano and I've been happy w all of them as well.
