I've had family in from out of town. I usually play all or most of my games on the weekends but couldn't get on the last two days. I'll catch up by squeezing 3 in during the week or binging this weekend.

That's no problem at all.
I will get games reset today OMT.

I have max playoff teams set to 10. Does that mean 5 from each league?
How will that work? Trying to figure out if I even have a chance to make the playoffs.

Yea, 5 from each league..
Two non-division teams play each other in the "Wild Card" game and then the remaining 8 teams play.

Well 1 CPU game to go for me and then 15 user games. I'm sitting at 40-26. One more win and I can't finish worse than .500 for the season, which is a huge accomplishment considering where I started.
Looks like I'll be fighting for one of the two wild card spots, and will have to win at least half of my user games, and that may not even be enough.
A's should take the west with a 54-22 right now.
Central will likely be won by the Indians who are 42-35 with 5 games remaining.
East is won by the blue jays already at 65-12.
That leaves the wild card sitting at
Rangers- 45-31
Boston- 40-26
Tampa Bay 40-33 (9 games remaining)
White sox 41-40 (1 game remaining)
Twins- 31-36
Tampa has 9 CPU games, so if my fellow users can beat them and I win just 1 more I finish ahead of them.
White sox have 1 user game remaining, which puts me in the same situation as the rays. Just need them to get beat by the user.
Twins is a user controlled team with about 15 games left to play. If he gets on a streak he can fight for a wild card spot.
Texas is benefiting from a solid record with their user. Rangers have 6 games against users. May be tough for me to catch them, unless I can win some user games.
Playoff picture is looking brighter for me than I expected. Just need to a) get user wins or b) have the users take care of the computer teams in the race with me in the AL.

I may be able to do some damage against Tampa Bay. I've got final series against the Angels in August, and then I move on to my September schedule. I know I am going to make the playoffs, but I am not sure if I will be in the main playoffs or playing in the WC game. As it stands now, I am going to be fishing for a Wild Card victory.

Sorry guys, haven't really been on. My roomies use my account for ps3 and stuff as well so I'm not always on. I should be free from about 1-5pm all day this week. I'm going on a somewhat spur of the moment rafting/camping trip this weekend so I'll be gone Friday afternoon-Sunday night

I will try to preview the NL wild card race on Wednesday or Thursday .
The end of the season has me excited. Excited for the run to the playoffs, to see which user takes it all (although I'm kind of worried about lag issues in playoff games) and excited to see how the offseason will be.
