Was he the only one that had his exact Ht listed? Did the 3/4" really matter?

Sammy Watkins was listed at 6' 3/4"

You don't know anything about the Browns' roster do you?

I know its the Brown.....what else needs to be said? They haven't exactly been world beaters lately have they? they had 3 QBs with at least 3 starts last year....20-something QBs in the last 10 years.
I would surmise Cleveland is where QBs go to ruin their careers.
Now if you're going to tell me their O-line is vastly improved or something then so be it. But I can't imagine JM was jumping for joy at the prospect of playing there.
Great fans...terrible weather....not much other upside.

I do hope you're joking by doing this.

It's "should've", which is a contraction for "should have".

"Should of" makes zero sense.

Pick up a book sometime, people.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe the fact that their defense is stacked and they have one of the best young WR's (Gordon) and TE's (Cameron) in football.

Their O-Line is somewhat worrisome. But Mazniel's mobility can help mask that.

I don't care about any of this shite:

D has improved no doubt...but I gotta think it stung the boy when some of the local teams passed him over.

Don't get me wrong, I like his skill set. Hell, I'd be glad if the 49ers drafted him. He could give CK a run for the starting job.

But again...we're talking Cleveland. They have a long history of fricking things up.

Ehh. I could also see him wanting to get the frick out of Texas and starting something somewhere. And it didn't make sense for either the Texans or the Cowboys to draft him where they were picking, especially given the 'boys glaring needs at OL and on D.

Again, this is irrelevant. They have pieces in place and just needed a QB.

At that point in the draft, the kid was jumping for joy just to be able to say he was a first round draft pick.

The team is building a dome and they need help at QB. Why wouldn't he be happy with the chance they are giving him?

They're just making improvements to their current stadium. No dome. Minnesota is building a new dome, though.

Weren't aware they were building a dome (but again I don't follow Browns football). That will take care of the weather issue.

And when they show him the $, I'm sure he will be over it.

But come on guys, y'all are making it sound like the Browns are right around the corner from the Super Bowl or something. Besides, Gordon had drug issues last year which may not be behind him...who knows. The TE Cameron is in the last year of his rookie contract and the Browns may not want to pay him what he's worth...although they would be foolish not to.

They're not.

Not a single soul was implying that. But they will have a beast defense. Also, you can say whatever you want about Gordon's drug "issues" causing future problems and Cameron's contract, but that's all speculation. Those guys will be on the field and can make a QB's life way, way easier.

I don't think it's a stretch to say they're a playoff-caliber team next year or the following year.

I think he's going to do just fine in the NFL. You build around your QB. They got their QB now. And the worst part about it is, I hate the dude. I think he's a douche.

And yes I know, he is going to make more money than me.

For the dipshits that actually defend him for god knows why.

I did too after his Heisman year. he went over the top with a lot of his behavior. but he was a kid and his maturity level was equal to his age. this past year, he grew up and I started liking him. whatever, he was the heart and soul of the aggie team and he AND the move to the SEC is what brought that program back to national prominence AND the reasons they are overhauling their piece of shite Kyle Field stadium.

i'm a Saints fan and always will be but living in Houston has taught me how fricked up the Texans francise is. they passed up one hell of an opportunity yesterday and will come to rue that decision.

Meh...we will see. I like JFF ok but not sure he will be able to do all the improvising he did in college. Maybe, but the D will be keying in on him and the dude is very likely to take a beating this year when he's running from LBs that are just as fast as he is.
