To me it seems like when we need a gutty performance on the mound because we arent doing well at the plate we get one. those let downs(from our starters, bullpen scares me) usually come when the bats are putting up some runs and we have wiggle room to work with.

funny how that works out. same could probably be said for every team in the country.

Definitely looking forward to seeing this play out. I think LSU takes care of business and gets to host, pairing with ULL of course; but should we falter, going to Laffy as a 2 would make for a fun regional round. Winner would likely host the super.

but not every team is 43-7. they actually do get it done.

if this is in fact the case, how do you think LSU plays it. With LSU not putting up huge offensive numbers and posibly playing a strong 3 seed, do they throw NOLA first game or hold him to a possible UL/LSU match up. same thing the cajuns did last year and it back fired on us(i agree with the move we made, it was our only chance)

I could see holding NOLA, but if the offense isnt there it is conceivable to think a 3 seed only scoring 3-5 runs may be enough to win the first game. either way, i love baseball and this will get interesting
