I disagree. If you're playing a strong 3 seed like Kentucky or Tennessee, you have to go with Nola. We don't have the depth to come out of the losers bracket of a regional. Game 1 is a must win which you can't gamble with. If it were a 4 seed, holding Nola isn't a gamble at all. Your 2 or 3 pitcher should have no problem.

No way ULL get LSU and UK/UT in the same regional.

I'm not necessarily saying they are. But those two are 3-seed caliber teams. They were just examples.

what makes you think that? honest question.
Because of the competition you play every weekend.

Yeah I understand, but that would be an extremely hard regional. I think LSU does what it needs to do to secure a regional host, but after that I'm not sure they'll be paired with ULL. I could see LSU getting a top 4 national seed as a pair though.

Depends on ULL's draw for me. If they get a dominate pitching team as the 2, I can see them struggling. That step up in pitching is hard to adjust to. They haven't seen much good pitching this year. I actually think they could win against Kentucky and Houston. Send someone like Vandy there, and I think they'd be the favorite to get to a Super.

Other than ULL we could get paired with FSU or maybe Indiana. Maybe one of the big 12 teams too(TCU or Ok St)

i know our SOS isnt anything to write home about, but we've beaten everyone they put in front of us(minus mid week game UNO ). if we were 36-20 i could see your argument, but we are 43-7 and have wins against top 25 teams (3-1). just because we havent played the same amount doesnt mean we play them and lose. you can be better than someone with out ever playing them is what im saying.

Can we expect to see a Cartwright/Bugg Sunday rotation where each gets to throw 4-5 innings?

I'm not saying your team isn't good, but it'll be tough when you have to face a good team in a Regional with good pitching that you really haven't seen all year.
