Work... I'll working from home, but it has to be in Caddo Parish. The prices in Southern Hills buy more than Broadmoor...

No shite. Give an idea of in what area of Shreve you'll be working.

Southern Hills isn't the best of neighborhoods. Have you checked out the area yet?

I grew up here and live here now. I couldn't get to southern hills if I had to. Where is it?

I've checked out Broadmoor, Southern Hills, Shreve Island, South Highlands, North Highlands. I think Southern Hills is like New Orleans in that it can shift from great to ehhhh with a few blocks. I'd like locals comments...

Think of the intersection of Bert Kouns and Mansfield. There are some decent houses in that neighborhood, but there are much better areas.

Allendale is thriving again. I'd look into that area.

grew up and live in Southern Hills right now. It is now a very diverse part of town. Don't know what the minority split would be, but up until the early 90's, mainly a very white part of Shreveport. Now probably 50%. Not much crime. Really depends on how much money you want to spend on a house. From Baird Rd to Williamson Way, there are some really expensive neighborhoods. ok schools. Nice park.
