I'll just drag my boat to the wax a handful of times and shoot wood ducks the rest.
I dropped my lease and started hunting a public lake last year.
My old lease the year before averaged 1 woodie, 2 greys and a random teal each hunt whether it was 1 or 4 hunters.
Went to the lake and averaged 1 woodie, and a couple of greys each hunt. Saved about $1000... and killed about the same.

I like to mix it up in the winter anyway, duck hunt here, deer there, try to make a hunt or 2 with someone somewhere else, rabbit hunt a little, go get some specks in the marsh when the bite's good, sacalait a little. Couldn't put all my eggs into one basket (almost literally
) like that
