re: What's the most tramatic thing that's ever happened to you?

After working for the same company for 8 years, starting literally sweeping and cleaning up shite and then moving into the front office as a salesman, I was unceremoniously laid off. Found out a few weeks later that my wife was unexpectedly pregnant with our second child. Our first was 7 months old at the time. Wife is a teacher at a private school making what mcdonald's employees make.

I thought I was going to lose it.
