The Mardi Gras right after Katrina, my brother in law was murdered while he and my sister were walking home on Magazine Street. The case was never solved and so it still lingers. To this day, I don't know how my sister manages to cope with it.

My nephew was 17 when he started having seizures . He was out with his family boating. My BIL told him to pull the anchor up , he turned around then went into a seizure and fell overboard . His mom jumped in and had his foot for a moment but lost him. This was at Bayou Lacombe....they found him a couple hours later under the boat....he was such a good young man
