And that is exactly how I could never mistake you for anything but BR and those like it.
It's drilled into all of our heads from day one....Can't, won't work, not here, quit, move, negative negative negative NEGA MONSTER.... Baton Rouge will always be small and insignificant until the people stop seeing themselves as small and insignificant, not worth fighting for, building, investing in, etc.
God's honest truth of the matter, and you can take this to the bank...
If Baton Rouge was LSU, we wouldn't be satisfied until it was National Champion of cities every single year. We'd have the best food, the best nightlife, the best atmosphere, and the people would pack downtown like it does Tiger Stadium itself on said Saturday Night.
Guess what the extra bonus would be?
We wouldn't have to cram it all into a short season, but it could be year round.
