That looked like an ACL injury.

I tore mine running routes.
Ran a 10 yard out, cut left and my right knee kept going in. BOOM. Shredded ACL.

When I watched the replay it didn't look good. I swear I saw the entire femur shift through the pants.

Maybe his patella popped up or something. I definitely saw movement right at the knee. It looked bad.

I think it was more than just the ACL. Probably the MCL too. Could've been a terrible triad. ACL, MCL, medial meniscus. If it was just an ACL, he'd have been able to walk off the field.

Some people react differently on ACL tears..
I was pain free after 2 min and could run, but I could tell I tore something due to I stability. Others are not so lucky and can't walk at all.

Think at the minimum it's a dislocated knee cap. Looked horrible and I feel for that kid.
