Thing with Apple Laptops is they are really good but if something breaks, forget about it. Replacement parts can sometime equal up to more than what you paid for the laptop. It adds up quick and it's not even funny. Not trying to say don't get one but whatever you do if you buy one get Apple Care.
BTW anyone have any opinions on the Certified Apple Refurbished Laptops you can buy on their web site?

I buy almost exclusively manufacturer refurbished items. The Apple refurb quality is good enough that they'll let you buy standard AppleCare for it. Would be good enough for me if I were currently looking for an Apple product.

Just got one. Only have had it a few days. Can't distinguish from new. I guess there are always bad apples, but my decision was based on the multiple folks who are running 7 yr old Macs and still run like new. Don't get that from a PC really.
