Like it has been said before most vets don't "train or teach" the rookies that's the coaches job. Why would you help the guy trying to take your job?

While I understand that thought process. You don't have to have the vet QB do the teaching. Watching him play, watching him practice, learning the work ethic it takes to be that type of QB is just a part of the growth process. The coaches can do the rest. I just said I would like that possible replacement to learn behind Brees.
That being said, I'd understand why a vet wouldn't want to teach a possible replacement. I would like to think that Brees isn't that type of player. When he knows he's close to done, I hope he'd do all he can to help.
