It should be easy to transport with a couple of tie downs. If it does stick out too much a bed extender will fix that.

I'm going to end up buying one myself soon. I'm thinking I want a sit in type instead of on top because it just seems like it would be more stable. Is this true? What are the advantages of either? Also, is there a reason I should get a 12' yak instead of a 10'? I'll be using it exclusively for small lakes/ponds bass fishing. Seems like a 10' would suit my needs pretty well and be easy to transport and load in and out of the truck.

Is there a good informative kayak thread burried on here somewhere? Any helpful links for people just starting out with questions? Thanks
