Let's look at this in a different light. What if say Ford or Wal-Mart's CEO is a blatant racist, that would definitely affect how people view those companies. Tone at the top is crucial for business success, and it really does impact related parties.

Don't you think the NBA has a vested interested in the well-being of an LA franchise? If the Clippers take a pretty substantial hit, then the NBA also takes a substantial hit, both on the PR side and on the revenue side.

Also, what do his players think of him? You don't think this would also have an impact about the performance of the team?
