It's hard to go off of. Everyone is different on it. AD's are like that. You may have to go through a couple before you find the right one. Go to a psych doctor or psych nurse practitioner instead of a GP. They have 2 totally different philosophies on diagnosing mental issues. As well as what to prescribe. Do the therapy. It's worth it. It may be as simple as changing a routine. Try a few things before you resort to meds. Hope you get better.

I was on Zoloft for a year. Like others have said... Hard to get off. That isn't always a bad thing. I was much more mellow. I also lost a bit of weight. All in all a positive experience.

This. I'm basically FORCED to stay taking a similar one (Paxil) because when I tried to go off it, it made me incredibly ill.
