Did we all just collectively forget how bad and over the hill he looked playing in the nfl almost TWENTY years ago?

With Herschel Walker it is all about the mental desire. I think he was done mentally with the game when he retired. If he really put his mind back into it, then yeah He could probably still get around the field.
To answer someone else's question, yes, HW was one of hell of a speedy beast in HS. I am pretty sure he set state HS records in track, but I would have to go back and check.
