Then if the first is gay, have another. They will love them both and the odds of one couple having multiple gay kids is remote.

Why should they have a gay kid if that's not what they want and there is a way to prevent it?

When will the parents know the child is homosexual? Even you can't be so stupid as to think this is a practical solution.
