I'm an attorney so I'll never have to serve. But it's sad seeing all the people trying their hardest to get out of jury duty. Put yourself in the accused's shoes.

Defense attorney? If so it seems a dumbed down jury pool would be the best case scenario for the defense. Unless we are not talking criminal.

Don't be so sure. I know lawyers who've served on juries. And one retired judge who served.
