Is AA and AAA ball better than Japanese league

I know a guy who was a fringe major leaguer, went up and down from AAA to the majors a bunch, had a few decent years in the bigs, was basically Derek Lee's back up in Chicago.
He gets paid a frick load in Japan, I dk how well he does, but they're only allowed a certain number of foreign players so they get paid more.

It pains me we can't field a great team in the World Baseball Classic.

More importantly, do the Japanese use Zero's on their flyovers?
