I honestly dont know why anyone would want to buy season tickets for lsu football. The schedule is usually crap and you get 1 or 2 good games. Just save the 5k and spend a couple humdred bucks each year going to the games you want

I can understand that argument, there are plenty of people that are willing to just pay the donations to obtain season tickets that way they are theirs as long as they want them. So spend the donation to get to the level of tickets you want, and then they are yours.

You are right though, if you only want to go to the name brand games a la Bama, Ole Miss, Florida, etc, then I guess it makes more sense to pay straight up for those games.

eta sure would be nice to have top notch games played on campus rather than the neutral trips though. Biggest complaint around the fan base is crappy home schedule, along with miserable game day parking for most general fans, ads taking up half of the scoreboards, etc.

josh336.....The reason why some contribute to TAF, might be they actually graduated from LSU and want to give something back...not just pick out 1-2 games a year on the cheap. Additionally, season ticket holders, even those only 1/2 way up the priority list, can sometimes upgrade seat locations, get first priority to away games, neutral site games, bowl games as well as the new playoff game possibilities ! So, there's a little more to it than you make it out to be !
