100% false, I mean I can tell you from plenty of personal experience. There's a girl that works for my company (different location, so we don't see each other but like once a week) that I also went to UGA with. We get along great and I would consider her a good friend. She's also not unattractive by any means, but she's not really my type. Neither of us has the slightest interest in being more than friends, that's just not the nature of our situation.

Now, as far as what SFP said with the friend-zone being 'relationship-y', I would never even think of asking her to a meal, or a movie, or just to hang out. The extent of our time together in person is strictly at work functions. We talk outside of work and text and stuff, but that's it. I dont' see why it's so hard to believe that a guy and a girl can simply be friends with nothing more to it than that.

ETA: just saw Jcorye's post. Disregard everything, I'm apparently talking about a different situation.

Yeah, but if you both got drunk and were single you'd frick her....

It's nature, survival of the fittest, evolution, genetics. Don't fight it

We're both single, and I assure you I wouldn't. I told you, I am not attracted to her in the least bit at all.

This, and if this chick finds herself in a position where she needs a man soon she'll turn on the charm. He's being kept warm in the bullpen in case the starter gives up a few runs.
