1. I guess he could have known how to swim. My fault on that... But case in point, one third of the people I know don't actually know how to swim. Drop 'em off 200m from shore and they'd be in big trouble.
2. I'm just assuming my experience in open water and getting knocked around in this type of environment:
Will help even out the battle to the death with Crazy Swan
. Goggles knocked off, punched in the face, kicked in the head, being swam over, swimming over people, grabbing or being grabbed by the ankles, etc.
