My first posts in this thread were about travel ball and how expensive it is. I guarantee it's more expensive than football. I don't think there are any football "travel leagues."

Then why are there an ever increasing amount of Latin Americans from 3rd world poverty making it to the big leagues?
Also, pretty much everybody who wants a shot at the NBA plays in travel leagues from middle school on.

You don't need to play travel ball to make the big show. If you have "it" the scouts will find you even if you are in the Dominican Republic, Korea or Australia.
People are pouring money down the drain thinking travel ball is going to make junior a star when it's not.
