Mr. Fishfighter,

Are plans available? I believe at one time they were, but not sure if they still are.

I don't believe i'd be able to make a build in April as I have too much going on with my boys. They are in Cub Scouts, basketball, soccer, etc. They're only 7 but they're making me feel like I'm 107

For me, the experience was as important to me as the boat. It was awesome to see a stack of flat plywood turn into boats that will be treasured for years.

If Fish does decide to do this again in the Spring, I would try to make it if it is possible. Attempting to build one from plans will not compare to going through this project with a group.

It is a lot of work and Fish is right in the middle of it. So at the end of the day, when you are whipped, he is probably feeling it more than you!

Thanks again
Frank

I have a couple sets drawn up along with bowstems. They are full size. I don't sell them, but I do take donations and what ever shipping cost is. I have someone coming tomorrow to pick up a set.

So, it looks like we have a few people that want to build. I will have to keep it limited to no more then 10 builds. Kids are more then welcome as long as you can help keep them under control. Work days are long and hard, so keep that in mine.

For those that have questions, email me at pirougebuild@gmail.com . Yes, pirogue is miss spelled, but that was all I could get. I will pass on my phone number to you.

Also, those that want to build, there will be a deposit of $150 up front. Total cost is around $200 - paint. You do that at home.

Of course, read up on what tools you will need. There is a list. So, lets make this happen. I will have to put a cut off date say around the 20th of March so I can get all supplies ordered.
