I put two coats of kilz primer on mine and then painted with an exterior latex for 2 coats. Then finally camo spray paint on top of that.

my base coat of paint for the camo was a pastel green/grey.

I should have used a straw color for base coat as it would have made camo easier.

Honestly, for durability, I wish I would have used an epoxy paint normally designed for fiberglass boats. I have used it in the past and it dries so hard it is damn near impossible to chip. The paint is much more expensive though.

Hey BP

So does that equate to a gallon or half gallon of paint/primer?

Thanks

Exactly what i was thinkin BP.

I was figuring a gallon of primer and a gallon n half paint.

Was gonna camo, but may just do a dark wintergreen color.
