The reason it's unknown is the city is moving to annex SG properties and the legislature is trying to make a deadline of July.
If the SG folks wait then they are screwed if this moratorium passes.

The moratorium has already been amended not to affect the current petition drive...and it hasn't even been to the Senate floor, just out of committee

The businesses in the news right now relating to annexation into the City of Baton Rouge have asked to be annexed. Aren't St. George supporters all about giving people the choice?
