Murder rate in Nola dropping

I just typed "homicide rate in New Orleans" in to a Google search and this was what popped up at the top of the screen....

quote:

In 2011 there were 16,761 crimes in New Orleans including 200 murders, 163 forcible rapes and 14,013 property crimes. With a murder rate of 57.6 per 100,000, New Orleans had the highest murder rate of any U.S. city with a population of 100,000 or more in 2011 and ranked 21st in the world.

So saying the murder rate in Nola is dropping is like saying that the Antarctic is getting warm after it has a few days where the temp is only -40 degrees. The fact still stands New Orleans is still a crime riddled, piss scented, shite stain ghetto that the rest of the country views as a pimple on the a-hole of the world.

If you consider the Mississippi River as the alimentary canal of the country then that makes the mouth of the Mississippi the a-hole.

I'm not gonna knight, but the city is better right now than it has been in my lifetime. I'm older than you, Darth. Yes, it has problems and a lot of them. But, there is a lot of great things going on right now.

And yet I'd still rather live here, rather than anywhere in Alabama

Quit posting, I'm not sure anyone on this board cares for your opinion or even likes you as a poster.

yet the rest of America still comes to visit.

And at you bringing up statistics. The fact that YOU don't like nola is another reason to love it.

And the murder rate in Nola is 1/2 of what it was in the early 90's that you love so much. I'd say going from 57+ to 42 in 2013 is a pretty good accomplishment. Looks like that number is going to continue to drop

Where do you live again?
