2014 LSU Baseball Stats Compared to 2013 UCLA

I love doing these for some perspective on our season.
Defense wins championships. Offense will get you to Omaha but without defense, all you will be is a sad sack of emptiness like Mississippi State last season when they got to the CWS but lost to UCLA.
So here is a breakdown of LSU this season compared to UCLA from 2013. I couldn't get the numbers exactly so UCLA is through 40 games and LSU is through 41. Sorry guys.

UCLA hit a stride at the right time. UCLA wasn't the best team in Omaha but they won the tournament. the CWS doesn't crown the best team it crowns the team who won the NCAA tourney.
