yes Blues I follow you. That's pretty much how I see it. If the guy that "falls" is clearly superior to your next up on the list, then you pick him regardless of position. So let's say Bridgewater falls to 27 and is rated 8 on Saints board, you want them to take him?

you missed THAT DISCUSSION
You can think Aaron Rodgers as the upside example. Similar circumstances/scenario as here. But the list is much longer of failed late 1st Rd QBs-
Weeden 22
Tebow 25
Brady Quinn 22
Jason Campbell 25
J.P. Losman 22
Rex Grossman 22
Patrick Ramsey 32
Jim Drukenmiller 26
Tommy Maddox 25
(never take a QB at #22!)
I'd pass on Bridgewater unless you were extremely bare at value and need fits. I think he ends up closer to the long list of guys than Rodgers career-wise. I would take Bortles or Manziel at #27. That is far fetched enough to know you would have trade suitors if so.
I have Carr as the #3 QB on my board anyway.
If Cleveland takes no QB at #4 I could see them taking Carr over Bridgewater at #26.
