Religion and Government both want to control what you do. They want to make it illegal for you to do things that disagree with or think is immoral. They both want to take away your liberty and freedom.
As far is government goes this goes for both dems and publicans, they just have different views on what they should make illegal.
For all the talk about liberty and freedom I find very few that really believe that. Very few that are willing to say, I think it is wrong what you do or want to do, but I support your right to do it.
