I understand. I may be way off, but it just seems like the anti-tax types are generally better at following tax renewals and getting out and voting against them. I'd be curious to see a parish wide poll regarding renewal of the BREC tax. I'm surprised it only passed 60-40. I suspect a larger percentage than that actually approve of it. I don't know anyone personally was active campaigning against it.
