Goodness! Let him fall!!

"DE Anthony Barr, UCLA
Expectation: Middle of Round 1.

How low could he go? New Orleans at No. 27. I've dropped him a little on my board after spending more time on his tape, but he's still clearly a first-rounder for me. The ceiling and the instincts on defense are a question, but this is still a very good athlete who can rush the passer."

"WEAKNESSES: Still developing as a run defender. Will be tested in coverage if working as a stand-up linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. Raw as a two-year player on the defensive side of the ball in coverage, and will need to pick up NFL schemes quickly to be more than a situational pass rusher as a rookie."

We could do a lot better than a one dimensional pass rusher in the first round. If he was good in either run defense or pass coverage also then maybe. I think they have other pass rush specialists that are further along than him that we could take at 27.

Had a dream this guy was our pick before I really knew who he was. After watching him on film he seems nasty and relentless. Has the measurables and athleticism to be elite. Made the switch to olb in 2012 and since than has led his team in sacks,TFL, and FF each year. With time to develop he could potentially be great.

Although I prefer to go offense in the 1st round, I wouldn't mind us grabbing him as he would have nice value at the 27 pick.

I remember the last defensive player that fell that much that saints took was.....Cam Jordan. Projected top 12 at worst and fell to 24. I remember one analyst after the draft said it was "inexcusable and a shame" that he fell that far and the Saints got a steal. Very prophetic

I'd take Antny Barr all day at 27.
