Yep, that's always what Hank attributed his power to.

What Hank & Willie accomplished was amazing considering they played in much bigger ball parks, especially Willie having to play in Candlestick, and the pitching mounds were a lot higher, the difficult racial times they played in along with travel conditions.

If Hank & Willie played in today's baseball, they'd both be better then Miggy & Trout.

Thats such an easy thing to say you're comparing two GOATS to two really great players who haven't been around long enough.

Pretty sure they didnt have any Verlander, Scherzer, Felix, Kershaw, Zimmerman, Greinke, Price, Jose Fernandez, Chris Sale, or Yu Darvish type pitchers in that era either. There are 5 or more guys on any given staff that sit at 95 or better.
