Trading up has not worked too well for us. Every year I want to trade down in the first or out of the first unless someone we really want falls in our lap.
It would be nice if someone listed our first and 2nd rounders under Payton to see how well our picks have been in each round.
IF we pick better in the 2nd, then drop down. IF we have good luck in the 1st, then take what's there.

That's all of the 2nd round picks we've had in the 8 years under Payton. Lost two to the "bountygate" bullshite and the rest were traded away.
As was said, Payton doesn't mind giving the second pick away to move up. I wouldn't be shocked if it happened again. If it does, Payton might catch a lot shite because of how deep this draft is.
