If I want to lay around and relax I can do that at home for free, with all of my comforts around me.

Yep. There is nothing appealing at all about a beach except for the sound of the ocean, and my Driod can do that.
Salt water? Nope. Blazing sun? No. Sand in the crotch of your swim trunks? Hell no.
