Good policy by France. It needs to be a law because otherwise the capitalists will just abuse the worker, emails day and night etc. You hear all the time about how workers feel "they always have to check in", well this prevents that in the evening. I am sure there are exceptions for people in industries that have to be on call like emergency doctors, detectives, etc.
