I'm not saying anything one way or another about the taxes argument, insofar as a definition or an axiom can be considered an argument. I'm saying that if your argument is true, it's not unique to welfare. If you can be excused for driving on roads, these women can be excused for (reasonable) use of food stamp programs.

I was behind a family last night. The two kids were literally out of control, screaming bloody murder. They kept telling them to "shut up", did no good. Kids were approximately 3 and 2. They had all kinds of crap in their basket. I was in a hurry, one line open at Wal-Mart, then they whip out the card and he said he didn't know how to use it. Took about 15 minutes for them to check out. Got out to the parking lot and they were loading their car, the man was screaming like crazy at the two screaming kids telling them he was going to "Knock the shite out of them", "Beat their arse", etc. My experience is probably the typical stereotype. Didn't feel at all sorry for them, especially the way they were treating the kids. Hell, don't have kids if they aggravate you that much.

You are trying to create a hypocritical position that I do not hold.
