No time like the present. I spent years of my life pursuing a "dream" I thought I had only to realize I didn't want it once I got there. I have since started doing much more of what I love and much less of trying to please everyone else. Whenever I start to think that I'm bored, I give myself a kick in the arse and do something about it.

To the OP: your future wife ain't just gonna come find you, your future kids aren't gonna make themselves, and your future management position isn't going to create itself. If you don't like where you are, do something about it. Life began 31 years ago good sir. No sense on waiting for it now. This is the real life.
