The government keeps spewing that they need to limit the amount of snapper because of population declines and overfishing. That is all well and good if it were true. Why is it that when I go offshore and fish for snapper every time I drop my line down I hook a snapper. If there was a population issue wouldn't you think it would be difficult to locate and catch them. Secondly they will limit the amount the recreational fisherman can catch but still allow the commercial fisherman to catch their share. I go into the supermarket and see these puny midget snapper in abundance. Makes me sick

Not sure if true but I just received a call from a very trusted source saying that Pausina told the feds to f-off and opened the season up 7 days a week in state waters.
