Good buddy of mine used to be a SF HALO jumper out of Fort Carson. I can't remember what unit. Now he's a trainer in the private sector.
ETA: If someone is familiar with the different SF units at Fort Carson, I may recognize it.

Sorry to hear about your dad. My dad was in the 173rd in Vietnam too. I was born at Eglin Florida Ranger Camp after he got back from Vietnam when he was an instructor at the Ranger camp. Jumpmaster, etc. He retired a Colonel with something over 700 jumps. He's one tough SOB.

Same. My dad was in the 173rd in Vietnam as well. Airborne Ranger with a CIB
