Is this Mozilla thing not a free market reaction?

I thought this is what conservatives thought should happen instead of discrimination laws.

Coercion; the tyranny of group think; exacting blood for the free expression of one's beliefs.

You and I have very different notions of what the free market entails.

You lost me there. Which discrimination law is involved in the Mozilla matter?

It definitely is. And it's 100% constitutional and everything, no objection there. To me it's just kind of shocking how quickly he was booted after his donation was made public. He did that privately, didn't let it effect his work, and I assume he still allowed gay people to stay within the ranks of Mozilla. Yet after a swift media onslaught, his resignation was tendered. All because of his OPINION on something. Kinda makes me wonder if the same would have happened if he was a man of Islamic faith.

it is,but that doesn't mean that people are banned from criticizing it (or the behavior that led to the decision). that's part of the marketplace of ideas

No, because the vast majority of Mozilla users were not even aware of the protest until after the guy resigned.
