One could argue that Colston is a #2 who was forced to be a #1 for us by default.
That's pretty much the way it looks to me, too. Jump balls and using his size to box the defender out is pretty much his game now. And with his age and his knees it probably isn't gonna get any prettier going forward. Wouldn't surprise me if Stills didn't come close or even surpass him in yardage this year.

The plantar fascitis is what really bothered him last season. But he turned it on towards the end when he was getting healthy. Plenty of WRs get it done well into their 30s.
Colston could be playing with the best corps of pass catchers this season that he has played with in his career. If we get a high drafted WR or two, along with Graham and Stills, possibly sign a vet FA, possibly emergences from Toon or Morgan, then Colston could very well enjoy one of his best seasons as a pro. He will not have to worry about getting the majority of attention from defenses.

Colston caught 28 passes for 347 yards and three touchdowns over the final four regular-season games. He then caught 11 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown in the playoff loss at Seattle.

With Bush back it makes things (somewhat) more clear.
Not necessarily in exact order as BPA will determine who and when
WR - Sproles Type - Starter
ILB / OLB - Possible starter
WR - /Colston Type - Possible starter
Center - Possible starter/development
Offensive Guard / Tackle - development
Defensive Tackle / Defensive End - development
Corner - development/special teams gunner
Undrafted - all positions
Cant wait for the draft to stop these threads!
