I ate there recently and was pretty unimpressed with the burger. Way too salty, crumbled apart, and the bun couldn't hold up. I did however love the milkshake that we had there. Like another poster said I would go back for the milkshake, but Nola has much better burger joints to choose from.

I’ve been enjoying this board for years. Whenever I can squeeze out a few precious moments of free time, TD is my go to.
Full disclosure: I am co-owner of Atomic Burger, so I am not sure how kosher it is for me to post on this topic, but I know how popular, or should I say frequent, burger threads are on here and I feel like I am in a unique position to contribute.
Whenever I read a thread with differing opinions of the same restaurant, I always wonder if the opiners have different standards/expectations or if the restaurant simply has issues with consistency.
In this case, I can say that we have certainly had issues with consistency. We had some problems with our initial processes, and I think much, if not all, of the criticism we have received has been warranted.
We've recently changed the way we cook our burgers, and we've made some tweaks to our fry recipe/process that I think have made a substantial difference in quality and consistency. I've not heard over-salting complaints recently, but coaching proper seasoning is a constant priority for restaurant operators, so I will look into that immediately.
Many thanks to all of our TD customers, and sincere apologies to those we've let down. My brother and I are very passionate about our young company and we're working hard to get better.
Cheers to you guys for holding us to a high standard!
