re: Things you dont like about going to LSU

The fact that 99% of all of the hot girls on campus walk around in nike shorts and giant t-shirts all day every day when it's not Yoga pants season (they keep the giant t-shirt, though )

How awful walking across campus in the rain is.

The fact that LSU is in Baton Rouge and not in a better town like Lafayette or New Orleans.

The professors who only care about research and don't give a shite about teaching or actively loath it.

Incompetent grad student instructors.

The Labyrinth of the Minotaur (aka CEBA, aka Patrick F. Taylor) *Thank goodness this is getting fixed.

BS gen-ed classes that are completely irrelevant for my major, taught by professors that don't care, attended by students who don't care, and are generally a massive waste of everyone's time and money.

Keynesian Economics department

Simply awful administrators and guidance counselors.

The Fun Police (Academic Conduct, Student Life, Student Affairs, ect)

BRPD and their checkpoints and speed traps.

Middleton Library (an eyesore with an awful selection of fiction and non fiction and poor lab space that was just made even poorer). It's a real embarrassment for a university of LSU's size and prestige.

The glass panels at the new Bus Ed complex that look like plywood from a distance.

The dirth of a Popeyes (thankfully just reopened the one on Burbank at Bluebonnet), boudin place (closest is across the river in Lobdell and it's not very good. Ronnies is all the way on Florida and it's a lot better), or a place to get Jambalaya near campus (closest is the Jambalaya Shoppe downtown, but it's only open for lunch during the week. The rest of the time, the closest is on Perkins near Seigan)
