You answer is because if they did that then the wish they were badass enough to be in combat cops, wouldn't get to use a riot shield, taser, or their sweet beanbag shooting shotgun.

If this doesn't scare the shite out of everyone as to what direction this country is heading in, don't know what will or does. Even if he had a knife what could he have done. He is 95 not 25. He would probably pass out after taking a couple of steps towards the cops anyway. What the hell is the point in all the DT training and lessons on how to disarm people in close combat you get from the academy. A swat with an asp would have been all it took. Pathetic.
