We raised three kids (2 LSU grads, one on the way!) Be firm but understanding. Check on them, calm them, but do not pick up. No, they won't hate you. They will learn that bedtime means just that.

Think of this as practice for the tougher lessons you'll need to teach later on. Use common sense and be just and you'll be fine.
